Torus was formed in early 2016 with the collective objective of creating a sound based on mixed genre influence while encapsulating a singular style to be defined as it's own. They pack a progressive rock punch that is explored through their textured instrumentals and danceable grooves. Their songs cross genre lines while maintaining a constant groovy-ness that culminates with contagious dance sections and powerful peaks . Torus takes their audience inside a world using music as their vehicle, the lyrics outline the story while the sound and texture of their songs color the canvas.  Torus is quickly developing a regional following and have been extending that reach in 2017 playing some notable shows in Boston and NYC .  The band continues to perform in support of their debut LP while writing and preparing for their next recording endeavor set to begin in early 2018.
